CASA output naming convention:

NPPa is net primary production in units of g C per m^-2 per month (general range 0-1500)
NEP is net ecosystem production in units of g C per m^-2 per month (general range: -300 to 300)

_00 to _11 refer to the month (Jan to Dec)
.2001 to .2004 refer to the year
.v11.00420.d1ref is merely our internal version control numbering.

All files are binary format.  Unsigned int for NPPa and signed int for NEP data.

File dimensions:  342 rows and 605 columns.

Projection is MODIS 8km, equal area.
